The MSc in FinTech equips current and future employees and managers within the financial sector with the skills and knowledge needed for a career at the forefront of disruption in the wealth and banking industries.

The UK has the most developed finance sector in the world and sits at the epicentre of change. Financial intermediation accounts for a significant percentage of GDP, and the FinTech model evolving in the UK is likely to be adopted globally. This creates strong international career opportunities for graduates of this programme.

The defining feature of this MSc is its integration of two essential streams for modern finance:

    1. Financial knowledge and understanding

    2. Technological expertise to drive sector change and new product development

The programme is targeted at non-specialists from either a financial or technological background who wish to develop a career in financial technology.

The programme is offered as an MSc only at the point of registration, although individual modules may be taken for CPD. To gain the MSc, students must complete 180 SCQF credits.
Students who do not complete the full MSc may be awarded:

    • Postgraduate Certificate (60 SCQF credits)

    • Postgraduate Diploma (PG Cert + 60 SCQF credits)

The programme is available in full-time or part-time study modes.
